As cyberattacks continue to rise, prevention becomes nearly impossible. Incident response plays a crucial role in surviving these attacks by putting in place an plan to effectively identify and contain a security breach and minimize as much damage as possible.
When an issue arises, SREs will enact incident response protocols to handle the situation. However, as cyberattacks become more complex and hackers become more savvy, we need new tools and processes to be able to handle these malicious attacks.
