On Nov. 14, William Willis covered Germany blocking the sale of a chip factory to a subsidiary of a Chinese company, Japan investing $500 million dollars into developing and producing semiconductors and Binance pulling out of its deal to buy FTX Trading. He also talked about Meta laying off 13% of its workforce. Finally, he previewed articles from Security Boulevard, Container Journal and DevOps.com, which covered Lacework’s addition of an attack path analysis tool, a study showing optimism for Kubernetes amidst its many challenges and Aqua Security claiming to be the first software supply chain security platform provider to meet the attestation requirements set out in Biden’s executive order.
