The countdown to one of cybersecurity’s biggest stages is on, and this year marks a major milestone—Tech Field Day Extra is officially coming to RSA Conference 2026 for the very first time.
Hosted by Tom Hollingsworth, this special on-site event brings the trusted Tech Field Day format directly to San Francisco on March 23–24, delivering expert-led discussions and deep dives into the evolving world of data protection.

On Tuesday, Commvault takes the stage to highlight its Resilience Ops architecture, designed to keep businesses running securely in the face of disruption. Alongside these presentations, a powerhouse lineup of industry delegates and analysts will provide insights, commentary, and real-time engagement.

It's time for a very exciting security event, and also RSAC is happening. Hello everyone. My name is Tom Hollingsworth.
I'm the event lead for all things security here at Tech Field Day, which is part of the Futurum Group, and we are excited to bring you the very first edition of Tech Field Day Extra at RSAC. RSAC is a conference that has been going on for years and years, and we've been a part of it in the past, but never officially with Tech Field Day. But this year, we're changing that.
We're going to be on-site March 23rd and 24th with some great presentations focused on data protection that you're not going to want to miss. We are excited to be bringing you Tech Field Day Extra for the very first time. For those of you who are not familiar, Tech Field Day Extra is our event that we bring to you when we are on-site at another event.
We've had them over the years at a number of companies that have put on their own events, like Cisco Live, HPE Discover, NetApp Insight, and so many more. But for the first time, we're going to be at RSAC. We're going to be kicking off Monday, March the 23rd, with presentations from our friends over at Veeam.
, and they're going to be talking about the latest advances in the data protection market and some of the things that they've been up to to help keep your data secure from anyone that might want to steal it or delete it. Right afterwards, from 10:30 to 11:30, we're going to hear from Object First. Now, they are a new company to us here at Tech Field Day, but one of the reasons why we're excited is because they recently announced that they've been acquired by Veeam.
And they're going to be talking about their special immutable storage system and how it integrates with Veeam, and how you can use it to keep your data, once again, from being stolen or encrypted or deleted or all those fun things that people want to do. We're also going to be back on Tuesday, March the 24th, with a great presentation from our friends over at Commvault. m.
m. You've probably seen a lot about Commvault recently. We were at Commvault Shift in New York City in the fall of 2025.
Well, we're going to be back with them at RSAC, and we're going to be talking all about ResOps, the resilience ops architecture that they've been building that will help keep your business running and ensure that all of your data and your identity is safe and protected from people that would seek to do you harm. We're also going to be joined by a great group of delegates, including friends like Jack Palmer, Jonathan Davis, Milu Meyer, Romeo Gardner, Shala Warner, Sky Fugate, Taryn Bryson, and more. The RSAC Conference is full of people from across the security spectrum.
A lot of our friends from the Futurum Group and from Techstrong TV are going to be on-site, not only taking meetings, but producing content and videos. com. I know that they're going to want you to check all of that out.
