HPE Networking Security Overview with Madani Adjali

Today we're gonna be talking about a variety of sort of topics. Um, but really the, the focus, uh, is really gonna be around, as, as we say here, re redefining security with ai, predictive threat prevention and application intelligence. Um, this session's pretty exciting for us, uh, as a company.
You know, uh, what's great about the Tech Field Day, uh, website is its history. And, and what I learned is that, uh, back in 2018, during security field day one, it was the first time that Aruba Networks presented. And then I was also shocked to see myself in the video and realized how gray I've now become.
Thank you. Uh, I'd say Aruba Networks has had a great history of, of presentations in a lot of the networking field days, mobility field days, but security Field Day had not really been an area that we focused in on. That is definitely something that we want to change now that we're part of a much broader security portfolio.
Our friends at Juniper Networks, which are now part of the family, have been presenting last time they presented is was in 2022. And as you can see, it also presented at Field a six, five, and three. And so we definitely hope we have more opportunities in the future.
As Tom had highlighted, you know, something recently happened, uh, back in early July. Uh, we finally had approval to complete the acquisition of Juniper Networks, ultimately forming what we now call as HPE Networking. The team of presenters that are here today are gonna be focusing specifically on what we call the SASS and security pillar.
That is the team that I foc, that I work with, uh, that I lead, uh, that crosses a variety of different products within our portfolio. Since we recently presented, uh, in early July networking field day, we had a little bit of some challenges on what we wanted to present. But let me give you a little bit of a picture of the overall kind of structure of the new organization of HPE Networking.
We have one group that's gonna be focusing in on what we call campus and branch. That's where you'll continue to see, I think, a lot of presentations in networking field day, focusing on wired and wireless technologies. We also now have a data center group, and we also have a WAN group of today's focus will be specifically on SASS E and security, where we'll typically cover topics like network access control, SD wan, sass E, and firewalls.
Now for today's presentation, we're gonna focus in on two specific areas. We're gonna focus on some new capabilities that we've brought into, um, into Aruba Central. That'll focus on application intelligence.
That'll be the second part of our presentation. But what we'll kick off with is really around the firewall side of the portfolio, which is new for us. And, you know, this is where you're gonna hear a little bit about some new technologies that are leveraged in the SRX.
But I'd like to use this slide just to kind of give you the breadth of portfolio of security offerings that we now have within the portfolio. Ranging from a variety of SD-WAN solutions that can be supported both as a full stack with wired and wireless or independently. We also have, as, As I mentioned earlier, firewalls that range from the low end all the way up to the high end ZTNA wig and CASB using our technology from our SSE portfolio.
Network access control from products like ClearPass Policy Managers was one of the products that I demonstrated back in 2018, and that we had an opportunity to demonstrate some of its new cloud-oriented capabilities during network field day in July. And then also some advanced services on our security portfolio, and we'll spend a lot of time in that area. So really hope this ends up being an interactive session.
Uh, I want to kind of get out of the way so I get the experts here on stage so that they can really deep dive into these things, hear your questions, answer them, of course, uh, and really kind of showcase the power that we now have as part of the new HPE Networking.
