Experience the Energy of Networking Field Day!
Networking Field Day 38 is set to run July 9–10 with a strong lineup of presenters and new delegates. The event kicks off with Aviz Networks, exploring the relationship between AI and networking, followed by a popular roundtable session and a return from Hedgehog, joined by a customer to share real-world success with their solutions. On Thursday, cPacket will showcase their network observability platform, and HPE Aruba Networking will close things out with deep dives into AIOps, Wi-Fi 7, and smart switching.
With new voices like Mike Huot, Nate Nielsen, and Ryan Harris joining the delegate team, the event promises fresh insight and discussion. Audiences can tune in via livestream and join the conversation using the hashtag #NFD38 on social media. Visit TechFieldDay.com for the full schedule and more details.

Hey everyone. Don't sleep on networking Field day. I know it's summer and everybody wants to get out and take a nap, but we've got some exciting stuff heading your way and you don't want to miss it.
My name is Tom Hollingsworth and I'm the event lead for all things related to networking here at Tech Field Day, which is a part of the Futurum Group, and we are thrilled to be bringing you the latest edition of Networking Field Day. We have a packed event with some great delegates and some amazing presenters. We're gonna be going from July 9th through the 10th, and that means that all of the fireworks are gonna happen the week before, at least in the us, but we're gonna save a little sizzle for you at the event we're kicking off on Wednesday with a presentation from Avias Networks.
I recently had a chance to sit down with some of their brain trust and talk a little bit about some of their ideas for what networks should be doing, and I thought, I think Thomas uh, did said it best in an interview. They're working on the duality of AI for networking and networking for ai, and you'll hear a little bit more kind of about how those things intertwine and why they're a little bit different from each other, as well as how do they work on getting that human and machine interface to be a little bit closer to more like a machine to machine interface, which is a very interesting idea about accelerating workloads and increasing efficiency across the network. After that, we're gonna have another edition of our great Networking Field Day, round table discussion where I let the delegates be the ones to answer the questions and to bring up the ideas that are important to people in the industry.
These are some of our most highly rated and most watched sessions from our events, and we can't wait to let you hear more about it. Then we're gonna hear from our friends at Hedgehog. Now you may remember that we got our first look at Hedgehog last year back at Networking Field Day 35.
We talked about things like their transit gateway. Well, they couldn't wait to come back and tell you all about all of the success that they've had with it. In fact, they're gonna be bringing a customer along with them who is taking a look at Hedgehog and they're gonna be using the hedgehog solutions to help, uh, with, you know, efficiencies and also some more advanced networking things that this customer wants to do, and we're gonna hear from some of the smartest people in the room about how they're able to do that.
Then on Thursday, we're gonna kick off with our friends at C packett. Now, you may have seen C Packett recently at Security Field Day, but they're gonna be coming back to take a more networking centric approach to things. You're gonna be hearing about their network observability platform, how it accelerates network operations and makes everything a little bit stronger by uniting the network operations center workflows into a single actionable view.
This is something that's very important for systems that are producing a lot of data, but you're get not getting a lot of information out of it. You need to understand how all of that plays into context, and of course, with the advent of things like AI that should be able to summarize those things a little bit bit more intelligently and help you be a lot more productive, either with the same number of people and more data, or heaven forbid, fewer people, but you get those real rock stars in there. Then we're gonna close out the event with our friends at HPE Ruben Networking.
I hope you're ready because you're gonna have a front row seat for an informative technical discussion on the future of networking from things like AI ops to wifi seven, unified security and smart switching. Their experts are gonna have everything that you need and there might even be a surprise or two. I can't say anything because spoilers, but I promise you it's gonna be networking just a little bit smarter.
We are also excited to feature a great lineup of networking Field Day delegates. In fact, we have three new names on this list, three people who have never been to Networking Field day before, and I'm very excited to welcome Mike Ott, Nate Nielsen, and Ryan Harris to our delegate lineup. They are going to be bringing a fresh perspective on the way that things work, and we're gonna be hearing from some of our old friends as well.

While you're there, make sure that you set your calendar for the presentation schedule for Wednesday and Thursday, the ninth and the 10th, and head over to social media, pick a platform and use the hashtag NF D three eight. That's NFD 38 to join the conversation.
Maybe you want to follow along for some of the diagrams that were on, the slides being shared with some questions. Maybe you have questions of your own or possibly even some experience with some of the products and platforms that are being discussed here. Whatever it is, we would love to hear what you have to say.

We'll be back with more great information about Networking Field Day very soon. Until then, stay tuned and keep those packets awake and moving.
