Systemic Thinking in the Age of AI
Complexity is everywhere, and pattern-matching alone will not carry leaders through the next decade. Esther Ovejero, CEO of Vecta Global, joins Alan Shimel on Techstrong TV for a wide-ranging conversation on systemic thinking, business agility, and the emerging future of AI. From her roots as a technical architect in the 1990s to founding Vecta Global in 2012 and building a systemic transformation practice across Spain and internationally, Esther makes the case that transformation is transformation — whether the trigger is AI, agility, or organizational change — and that leaders need a systemic lens to sense (and steer) what is emerging rather than trying to plan the unplannable. She shares her mirror approach to change, why AI is fundamentally a systems phenomenon that embraces the accumulated knowledge of humanity, and why the deepest question in front of every executive today is what kind of relationship with AI we choose to build.
