Inside content provenance
AI content is racing into email, marketing, evidence and social media faster than governance can catch up. As a result, courts, journalists and consumers cannot easily tell what is authentic, what was edited and what was generated. Meanwhile, a recent Utah courtroom moment showed how quickly zoomed and annotated video can raise chain of custody questions.
In addition, the conversation walks through C2PA, or content credentials, which cryptographically signs images and videos at capture, tracks every edit and exposes a nutrition label to viewers.
